The DragonFly™ functions in all conventional 40 x 46 mm grenade launchers. The DragonFly™ reduces target penetration and damage to training infrastructure. It has a reduced safety template, and consists of a unique propulsion system and reusable steel case kit. The new grenade is the most cost-effective 40 mm "force-on-target" practice training system available today, and is safe to transport, assemble and use.

The DragonFly™ consists of three components:

1. An inert, non-toxic, black polymer projectile (three models available: light, medium and heavy).
2. A modified blank cartridge propulsion system (explosive class 1.4S).
3. A reusable, 2-piece, high-quality, steel cartridge-case kit.
