Last weeks episode can be viewed at 2100hours EST.This episode covers the AK47 and pits the AK47 against our own M4 Carbine in a series of shooting events. Our Simunition product is used on the final shooting contest, featuring Simunition AK47 and M4 weapons.

What is the Simunition® Range Program?

The Simunition® Range Program is a service created by Simunition® to help qualified ranges, such as those used by private trainers under contract, to train law enforcement, military personnel as well as responsible armed private citizens, get properly up to standards for the use of Simunition® training products.

If you are an Instructor and would like to join our Range Program, you must fulfill the minimum requirements, which are:

Proof of $2 million liability insurance annually
Formal agreement to not resell our products;
Firearms Instructor credentials from one of the following certified bodies (NRA, Military, Law Enforcement, Technical College or Private Industry ie., Sig Academy, Smith & Wesson Academy, Gunsite to name a few);
Mandatory attendance and successful completion of our Safety Certification Course;
Agree to follow the Simunition® Safety Guidelines;
Agree to purchase the full FX® Training System including the ammunition, conversion kits and protective gear

Mike Chin, East Coast Regional Manager and Bill Sandman, Manager of International Training conducted a Simunition® Force on Target and Force on Force Training session for the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (I.A.L.E.F.I.) The program was conducted at the North Carolina Justice Academy Salemburg, NC. Simunition® product was explained and students were presented with both base level and advanced level scenarios using Simunition® technology. Simunition® GD-OTS attends the 2011 Rheinmetall Defence, Weapons & Munitions Division Infantry Symposium

The Simunition® Team of John MacDougall, European Sales Manager and Luis de Sousa, Simunition Product Manager were in attendance at the 2011 Rheinmetal Defence, Weapons and Munitions Division Infantry Symposium at Unterlüß, Germany. The event was attended by several hundred international participants. The event held many interesting industry and MoD briefings, live fire demos and of course an improvised Simunition® shooting range – set up by the Simunition® team at the back of the conference hall. Many high-level NATO country participants had an opportunity to try out the Simunition® converted weapons, including the new “ M21 Kalashnikov – style training rifle” for the first time

Simunition® is looking forward to participating in the next RWM Infantry Symposium in April 2013. Special Thanks to the RWM organizers of this year’s event for making it such a beneficial experience!

GD-OTS Simunition® Operations Attends MILIPOL Paris Show

GD-OTS Simunition® Operations attended the MILIPOL Paris Show, October 18-21, 2011. This Show brings together military and law enforcement personnel from around the world involved in internal state security. This year’s event was reported to draw attendees from 135 countries. Simunition® displayed its full range of products to include FX®, SecuriBlank training cartridges, conversion kits and pro gear. Also on display were the Always on Target™ Products to include CQT®, Greenshield and 5.56mm and 7.62mm Short Range Training Ammunition (SRTA).

GD-OTS SIMUNITION® Operations Conducts Seminar at the Home Safety Academy in South Florida

Simunition® Staff recently conducted a Simunition® Seminar at the Home Safety Academy in Lake Park, Fl. Attendees and Home Safety Academy Staff were briefed on the Simunition® product line and were then given the opportunity to test fire Simunition® kits. Several attendees participated in a force on force scenario all to their liking. Home Safety Academy plans to utilize Simunition® kits and FX ammunition in the near future as part of the Simunition® Range Program.
